"Up For Adoption",6x6" oil on masonite SOLD
click on image to bid We live within walking distance of the King County Fair. It's a throw back to old time, small, heavily 4H fairs of days gone by. Some types of magic never grow old. Corn dog anyone?
This looks great! I fondly remember the small town fair that had just a few rides and featured horse pulls. The closest I've seen lately is when we drove way the heck up to Moncton N.B., Canada and went to the St. Anne Fair -it was great. I took a bunch of photos this year at our fair -the patterns are really cool.
I'm a painter living in Enumclaw, Washington. It's a small town in the foothills below Mt. Rainier. My sculptor husband and I share 3 studios, a foundry,6 cats, a one-of-a-kind, custom, cast bronze door and cabinet hardware company and 5 beautiful acres of land on which we host a July outdoor sculpture show. "A Painting a Day" seemed a little over the top. Just up my alley. Don't look for any consistency in subject matter. The one sure thing? color!
Paintings can be purchased on Ebay of directly from our studio.
