- I'm a painter living in Enumclaw, Washington. It's a small town in the foothills below Mt. Rainier. My sculptor husband and I share 3 studios, a foundry,6 cats, a one-of-a-kind, custom, cast bronze door and cabinet hardware company and 5 beautiful acres of land on which we host a July outdoor sculpture show. "A Painting a Day" seemed a little over the top. Just up my alley. Don't look for any consistency in subject matter. The one sure thing? color! Hi Sharman. Been looking for a while, but don't believe I've ever commented. Your work is just lovely. As you say - it's all about color, and you sure have it nailed. Reading your profile, I admire your lifestyle and love how you live!
This painting is absolutely compelling - the color, composition, figures, everything!! I just love it.
