"Waiting for the Bus (not)" oil on canvas 20x30 $1,600
I'm posting both these images out of shear frustration. Two different settings on my camera, same painting, same location, same time of day. Neither is "on the money" but you get the general idea.
The colors of a photograph can change dramitcaaly depending on thr cameras light (color setting) To ensure good color fidelity get a card that has pure white, mid grey and full black and place beside your painting. Then if you have photo editing software that can correct for color temp click on these 3 points to set range correctly. I hope this helps Niels Henriksen
I'm a painter living in Enumclaw, Washington. It's a small town in the foothills below Mt. Rainier. My sculptor husband and I share 3 studios, a foundry,6 cats, a one-of-a-kind, custom, cast bronze door and cabinet hardware company and 5 beautiful acres of land on which we host a July outdoor sculpture show. "A Painting a Day" seemed a little over the top. Just up my alley. Don't look for any consistency in subject matter. The one sure thing? color!
Paintings can be purchased on Ebay of directly from our studio.
