This is another pic of the painting. It's better but still not there. The gold tones in the face are not nearly so prominent. However, I think the clarity is a little better. I'll keep trying...6" of snow on the groung this morning. Good time for computer work.click on image to bid
I've never been much on pity but I will confess, this one had me in the throws. I was so please with this painting but after photographing it and trying to load it to today's post I realized just how substandard my photos are. No one will get the quality of this painting. This is really what it's all about for me. This is what I want to do. This mime was at the Pike Place Market. It is a very famous Seattle landmark. Everything about him screamed "painting". I'm sorry I can't pull of the photo part. I could not be prouder of a piece.

Fine work, Sharman. I like the glow around his head and the vageuly suggested architecture behind him.
