Can you tell I think this guy is attractive? We have 6 cats now. The latest stray comes home from the vet tomorrow. He's quite the scrapper so it will be an interesting introduction. You won't see him here. He's not very cute.

During my recent visit to the ocean I was amazed at how popular surfing is in the Pacific NW. Having grown up in Southern California it seemed an unlikely location. I think this guy must have migrated about the same time I did.

On a recent "surprise" trip my husband took me on we stayed at Canon Beach, Oregon. Every morning was new cast of characters, strolling along, soaking in the last remains of summer.
