Our friend, Steve is really as intense as this painting suggests. He's a multi talented man who makes the most marvelous wines. Lucky for us he's also very generous and we often get to enjoy them.

I haven't posted for a bit because I had 3 pieces going at once and I really wanted to experiment with some glazing techniques before they were posted. It's like some kind of magic. You feel like you have lost a good deal of control and yet it's very liberating. I'll will certainly continue to play with this approach.
