- Sharman Owings
- I'm a painter living in Enumclaw, Washington. It's a small town in the foothills below Mt. Rainier. My sculptor husband and I share 3 studios, a foundry,6 cats, a one-of-a-kind, custom, cast bronze door and cabinet hardware company and 5 beautiful acres of land on which we host a July outdoor sculpture show. "A Painting a Day" seemed a little over the top. Just up my alley. Don't look for any consistency in subject matter. The one sure thing? color! Love your plate series. There is just something about vintage stoneware. It has a nice feeling to it. It come through in your paintings.
Thanks. I'm having fun. Now if my photography of the paintings would improve...any suggestions?
