This red, glass plate presented some challenges I didn't expect. However, couple with the delicate little blooms it was irresistable.

- I'm a painter living in Enumclaw, Washington. It's a small town in the foothills below Mt. Rainier. My sculptor husband and I share 3 studios, a foundry,6 cats, a one-of-a-kind, custom, cast bronze door and cabinet hardware company and 5 beautiful acres of land on which we host a July outdoor sculpture show. "A Painting a Day" seemed a little over the top. Just up my alley. Don't look for any consistency in subject matter. The one sure thing? color! perfect timing. The public isn't exactly in agreement with you right now but I've never "aimed to please".
