"Quince", oil on masonite, 5x5"

There's a hugh Quince bush outside my kitchen window. Coupled with the sprouting of crocus it is always the first sign that spring is actually coming. I marvel at the delicate lines these tough twigs draw across the skyline. The buds are small and sturdy, opening to the most delicate little blossums.

Beautiful - I just picked up a bundle of Quince branches at the market and can't wait to start painting them. It makes me feel like Spring is really here and it rminds me of Van Gogh's Almond Branches. - BTB great BLOG I visit as often as possible.

Thanks! I'm afraid everyone will be suject - no pun - to my property all spring. It's just too tempting.
