I've been very hesitant to paint these guys. They are so magnificent on their own I thought it pretty risky. You'll probably be seeing more of them. Fun for me, trouble for you.

- I'm a painter living in Enumclaw, Washington. It's a small town in the foothills below Mt. Rainier. My sculptor husband and I share 3 studios, a foundry,6 cats, a one-of-a-kind, custom, cast bronze door and cabinet hardware company and 5 beautiful acres of land on which we host a July outdoor sculpture show. "A Painting a Day" seemed a little over the top. Just up my alley. Don't look for any consistency in subject matter. The one sure thing? color! WOW.
You really nailed these Scottish Highlanders which I think are the most beautiful cows. The long horns and the beautiful red hair!
I took some great photos of a pair of them and also, was sort of intimidated to go after them, but where you lead...I will follow.
