I have yet to figure out why the cows all come to the fence when a human is there. They stare right at you as if there was some unknown expectation.

- I'm a painter living in Enumclaw, Washington. It's a small town in the foothills below Mt. Rainier. My sculptor husband and I share 3 studios, a foundry,6 cats, a one-of-a-kind, custom, cast bronze door and cabinet hardware company and 5 beautiful acres of land on which we host a July outdoor sculpture show. "A Painting a Day" seemed a little over the top. Just up my alley. Don't look for any consistency in subject matter. The one sure thing? color! It IS odd how cattle will usually all watch you with apparent expectation!
I love the colors you find in your cows. I wonder if the local llamas could come to me if I stood by their fence. Or the longhorns. I might try it Saturday.
