- Sharman Owings
- I'm a painter living in Enumclaw, Washington. It's a small town in the foothills below Mt. Rainier. My sculptor husband and I share 3 studios, a foundry,6 cats, a one-of-a-kind, custom, cast bronze door and cabinet hardware company and 5 beautiful acres of land on which we host a July outdoor sculpture show. "A Painting a Day" seemed a little over the top. Just up my alley. Don't look for any consistency in subject matter. The one sure thing? color! This is such a gorgeous painting. I can't believe how much life and movement you got into such a small space. You definitely have vacation fever, and now so do I!
I love the sunny warm color here and the interesting shape of the tree. Makes me want to travel south too!
We are finally getting some warmer days and the snow is disappearing from our yard.
