Even though I've been really pleased with the images of my wonderful cats, my biggest enjoyment comes when I portray the human figure. It's so interesting how the face becomes unimportant.

- I'm a painter living in Enumclaw, Washington. It's a small town in the foothills below Mt. Rainier. My sculptor husband and I share 3 studios, a foundry,6 cats, a one-of-a-kind, custom, cast bronze door and cabinet hardware company and 5 beautiful acres of land on which we host a July outdoor sculpture show. "A Painting a Day" seemed a little over the top. Just up my alley. Don't look for any consistency in subject matter. The one sure thing? color! The beauty of "Blades" lies in the color and shape . I don't need to see her face , I don't need details . It IS interesting how the face becomes unimportant . Thanks for that , my thoughts exactly !
