This is actually my wonderful daughter in-law. I doesn't look like her but I still think it's a fun painting. She and my son live on the East side of Washington state. Believe it or not, it's dry and hot over there. The orange really portrays how the days feel.

i really like this portrait. the colors simply evoke a sunny day to work nicely with the high contrast shadows...simple, clean, and very satisfying!
