- I'm a painter living in Enumclaw, Washington. It's a small town in the foothills below Mt. Rainier. My sculptor husband and I share 3 studios, a foundry,6 cats, a one-of-a-kind, custom, cast bronze door and cabinet hardware company and 5 beautiful acres of land on which we host a July outdoor sculpture show. "A Painting a Day" seemed a little over the top. Just up my alley. Don't look for any consistency in subject matter. The one sure thing? color! Just found you by way of the Daily Painters and absolutely love this painting. Such a unique composition and so cheerful. Great job!
Sharman, I've seen attempts of dogs with toys in their mouths but I usually say - What is that? You have done it, done it, done it! This is adorable!
I just found your blog from the challenge group. I LOVE your work! This painting is so great . . . it makes me want to go play fetch with my dog! Your compositions and brushwork are wonderful.
