"Lemons Alone" oil on masonite 6x6" SOLD

It's so strange; Ross and I were in my studio together. We bought this ridiculously expensive framing system, thinking in the long run we would be helping with my small paintings. I painted while he struggled with the set up. These lemons were the product. It's the first time I felt like they actually FELT like lemons when I was done. Maybe it's the influence of the framing system. Needless to say, things did not go so well. The system is designed for BIGGER PAINTINGS. Who knew???? As much as I like my lemons in a dish I think I'm going for lemons in a glass...with tequila.

Good Idea. Don't forget the salt :D
I'm using 'floater' frames from Graphic Dimensions for my 6x6 paintings because I don't want to lose that 1/4 inch on the edges. However, I'm going to have to switch to the cradled boards in order to have something to hold the screws. The thin masonite is too thin to hold them so I have to glue the paintings onto the frames.
