"A Story To Tell" oil on masonite 6x6"

This is another pic of the painting. It's better but still not there. The gold tones in the face are not nearly so prominent. However, I think the clarity is a little better. I'll keep trying...6" of snow on the groung this morning. Good time for computer work.

I've never been much on pity but I will confess, this one had me in the throws. I was so please with this painting but after photographing it and trying to load it to today's post I realized just how substandard my photos are. No one will get the quality of this painting. This is really what it's all about for me. This is what I want to do. This mime was at the Pike Place Market. It is a very famous Seattle landmark. Everything about him screamed "painting". I'm sorry I can't pull of the photo part. I could not be prouder of a piece.

Fine work, Sharman. I like the glow around his head and the vageuly suggested architecture behind him.
